Family Search Home of the largest internet genealogy service provided by The Church of the Latter Day Saints.  I have found this site an enormous help in my research.

Legacy Family Tree Software Legacy 6.0 is a full-featured professional genealogy program that helps you track, organize, print, and share your family history. Includes source documentation, dozens of beautiful reports, expert merging capabilities, To Do list, pictures, videos, Web page creation, spell checking, Internet searching, relationship calculation, name tag printing and more. The program imports and exports standard GEDCOM files as well as directly reads PAF files.
   
MyTrees.com An excellent site for researching your ancestry and building your family tree.
   
Old English Census Occupations Some of the occupations that you may find on the English Census during your genealogy research.  Because many of these jobs are no longer in existence there is a brief description against each one. This list is by no means exhaustive and if you would like to add a 'new' job to the list you are invited to email the website owner with your suggestion.
   
Southern Life (UK) Now featuring over 1,500 villages that show the history and life of the counties of  Berkshire, Dorset, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Surrey, Wiltshire, and West Sussex The links page offers useful information on local history and genealogy along with details of Record Offices. As well as showing the history of the villages the website also gives some local colour in the way of famous people and places.  Chris and Caroline's hard work is shown by a magnificent web site which is always kept up-to-date.

Knightroots Linda and Tony Knight's family history site.  One of the main features of this site is the online transcription section that is located in the "parish registers" section, designed to help other people searching for names in their family tree.. Please note that the transcriptions on this website are only partial transcriptions.
   
Rootsweb  The oldest genealogy site and a MUST for all those researching their ancestors.  
   
The British Newspaper Library Catalogue The source to find which published newspapers are held  by the Newspaper Library.  A good user friendly site.
   
UK BDM Exchange An online resource for anyone researching their UK family history. Details of nearly 90,000 Birth, Death and Marriage Certificates since 1837 along with details of Church records of Baptisms, Burials and Church Marriages from before 1837.   Please note that there is a charge to use all the facilities of this resource.
   
Hampshire Cam Digital photographs of Hampshire, with occasional images from Wiltshire, West Sussex and Dorset.  Hampshire Cam is well worth a visit.  David Packman is an excellent photographer and a look through the Archives is a definite must if you are researching one of the counties mentioned above.
   
The New Forest Graham Cooper's website offers an overview of the historical basis of the New Forest, (now a National Park)accompanied by excellent photographs.
